Senior Landscape Designer & Sales Lead
The Senior Landscape Designer & Sales Lead will be responsible for planning and executing various landscaping projects. This involves creating custom landscape designs, developing detailed planting plans, overseeing installations, and ensuring that all projects meet high-quality standards. This role includes client consultations, project management, and collaborations with a team to deliver exceptional outdoor spaces. This role is structured for a high-level professional with the potential to transition into a management capacity, assuming full responsibility for our design and sales team. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Brainerd, MN. The yearly compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on the candidate’s professional tenure, portfolio depth, and industry credentials.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Landscape Design and Landscape Architecture
- Experience in creating detailed Planting Plans and Hardscape designs
- Thorough knowledge of landscaping principles and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships and lead project teams
- Extensive background in project execution, budget management, and team supervision
- Proficiency with design software and tools (Pro Landscape+ is preferred)
- A Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field is preferred; however, equivalent professional experience and a proven track record in the industry will be strongly considered.
- Ability to work on-site and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Landscape Construction Foremen & Assistants
As a crew leader, you will be responsible for the installation of a wide variety of landscapes and supervising a 2 to 3-person crew. Crew leaders must be able to take direction and then coordinate their crew to ensure that the job is completed at a quality level with a quick, steady pace. You will assess a site upon arrival and make professional decisions, plan and delegate tasks, identify priorities, motivate crew, and solve problems that arise. Assistants will help the crew leader accomplish these goals.
Applicants should have strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, a positive can-do attitude, a strong work ethic, and the desire to be part of a great team. Education and/or experience are helpful, and a current Driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required for crew leaders. We will provide on-the-job training!
Greenhouse Growers
Growers on our team will help with the growth and maintenance of our plants through proper watering, fertilizing, pest control, spacing, sanitation, and other horticultural techniques to ensure optimal crop performance. Applicants should have strong communication and creative thinking skills, organizational and time management skills, a positive can-do attitude, a strong work ethic, and the desire to be part of a great team.
